My name is Marjorie Jean Vera. I’m a dancer, yoga instructor, and dance movement therapist.

I’m currently available for additional projects.

Currently based in Tarragona, Spain, and collaborating on global movement and creative projects.

My mission is to bring people together and help them find ways to connect more profoundly with themselves and the world around them.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing, with a minor in International Management, and a Master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy.

Cultivating my craft through continued studies in contemporary, urban, experimental, and commercial dance styles. I feel deeply moved to express my lived experiences through my body and hope to inspire others to do the same.

Healing through dance movement therapy is possible. I have worked with special needs children and psychiatric patients and my goal is to specialize in trauma through work with marginalized populations and survivors.

The mind-body connection is fundamental to reconnecting with yourself. In my classes, you will be guided through meditation, asana practice, and pranayama techniques meant to help you experience it.

Movement is primal. I hope to meet and inspire those who are on their movement journey to find their path. All paths lead to the same place: the union of the mind, body, and soul.
